Os números do Dakar 2011
Este ano, o Dakar Argentina Chile 2011 vai ter 430 concorrentes à partida, cerca de 2.500 pessoas diariamente no bivouac da prova, onde se vão preparar 2000 pequenos almoços, 1600 rações de ‘combate’, 1.000 lanches, 2.300 jantares sendo necessárias diariamente cerca de 12.000 garrafas de água. A prova, com um percurso de 9.500 quilómetros, dos quais 5.000 de especiais, foi dividido em 13 etapas. Para assegurar o normal decorrer do evento foram destacados à volta de 25.000 polícias, que controlarão cerca de 800.000 pessoas só na partida, se pensarmos nos números de 2010.
